British Airways have launched their Your Flying Future competition this week, where 20 lucky winners will have the amazing opportunity to experience the controls of a British Airways A350 Aircraft on the 29th September.

On Friday, our Germany Team Lead, Raja, hosted an Elevate(her) social event in Stuttgart with AERO BETA Flight School!

The event brought together women from across the aviation industry, creating a fantastic opportunity to network, share experiences, and learn from one another's unique journeys in aviation✈️

We are so excited to launch our brand new podcast, Call(her) Captain! ✈️

This is something we have been working on behind the scenes for a while, and we can’t wait to finally share it with you. Call(her) Captain brings the Elevate(her) team together for honest, unfiltered conversations about life in and beyond aviation.

We’ll be chatting about everything from our first experiences in aviation and building confidence, to balancing relationships, navigating career challenges, and plenty of other real-life conversations along the way.

Hi all! I’m Jordan and I’m currently living in Windsor. I’ve got around 100 hours, 40 ish PIC and am hour building in a hired aircraft at Draycot Farm near Swindon! Always happy for company, and happy to nip in to most airfields in the South to pick up if Swindon is a bit far!

I'm Lily, a student pilot with just over 30 hours based out of Wolverhampton Halfpenny Green airport (EGBO). Hopefully I'll have my license soon and am keen to see parts of the country by air. It would be great meet anyone who is based nearby!

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting our Women in Aviation Panel at the University of Oxford, bringing together six incredible women from across the aviation industry to hold an inspiring conversation! ✈️ 

Each panellist shared their unique journey into aviation, offering honest perspectives on the opportunities, challenges, and lessons they have experienced throughout their careers. Their diverse backgrounds created a truly insightful discussion, filled with practical advice and encouragement for everyone in our community taking their next steps in aviation.

It was an incredibly empowering event, and we are so grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a memorable conversation!

Building solo hours is exciting, but it can also feel a little daunting. This group is a space for student pilots and newly qualified pilots to connect with others flying from the same airfield or living nearby, so you can support each other on your solo flying journeys.

Whether it's meeting for a coffee before a flight, encouraging each other through first solos, or finding someone to fly with, this group is all about building confidence, community, and connections, one solo flight at a time✈️
