Elevate (Her) X DHL Air UK Webinar

Earlier this year, DHL Air UK was proud to be featured in the Spotlight on Women in Aviation webinar.

The session showcased some of the fantastic women from across our operation, with three DHL Air UK colleagues sharing their experiences, career journeys, and insights into working within the cargo aviation sector.

It was a great opportunity to show our support and celebrate the talent within our teams, thank you to everyone who took part and joined the session.

QR Code to Questionnaire if the link doesn't work :)

As part of my EPQ research, I am looking for industry professionals who would be willing to complete a short questionnaire. It only takes a few minutes and all responses will contribute directly to my project.

The deadline is approaching very soon, so I would be incredibly grateful if you could complete it and, if possible, forward it to any relevant colleagues or contacts.

Thank you for your support! EPQ Pilot Questionnaire — Evaluating an AI-Integrated Communication Tool for Aviation – Fill in form

Speaking to over 180 students, this was our biggest school talk so far! it was fantastic to see such strong engagement, with so many young women asking thoughtful questions and showing genuine interest in aviation careers.

We are excited to watch their curiosity and ambition continue to grow!

To not give up the first hurdle and to always have a Plan B, C, D, E to get to the goal. For example, if a flying lesson gets cancelled down to poor weather, how can I cancel it purposely that time to do something beneficial that also helps the goal? And then also, just because Plan A doesn’t work doesn’t mean Plan B can’t get you to the same place.

The Elevate(her) Annual Networking event!

To celebrate Elevate(her)’s third birthday, we were delighted to host our annual networking event this week! ✈️

It was fantastic to see so many new and familiar faces, and to watch our wonderful members connect, build new friendships, and enjoy an afternoon of asking questions, sharing experiences, and meeting like-minded women within aviation.

The event also featured an inspiring keynote speech from Rosie and Helen from On a Mission, who shared incredible insights into their career journeys in the Royal Air Force as a fast jet navigator and Trail blazing Typhoon pilot, respectively. They spoke about the importance of recognising that it is okay for your goals to change, and that doing so is not giving up, but simply a readjustment of your aim. As mothers, Rosie and Helen also shared honest reflections on how they navigated motherhood alongside the changes throughout their careers.
