Last week, Victory Oyet from our South African team delivered an inspiring school talk at Germiston High School in Johannesburg ✈️🇿🇦 Speaking to over 180 students, this was our biggest school talk so far! it was fantastic to see such strong engagement, with so many young women asking thoughtful questions and showing genuine interest in aviation careers. We are excited to watch their curiosity and ambition continue to grow!

It was fantastic to see so many new and familiar faces at our annual networking event last week! It was truly wonderful watching our members connect, build new friendships, and enjoy an afternoon of asking questions, sharing experiences, and meeting like-minded women within aviation.

Airline is investing £18m to fund up to 160 places on the highly- competitive Speedbird Pilot Academy. The funding will cover the £100,000 cost of pilot training over two years and guarantee successful candidates a flying role on completion. The team has been working on this incredible report for pver 9 months and recently we presented it in London for the first time! this is a very exciting moment. This year we celebrated International Women's Day with an incredible event at Waterside with our Partner British Airways. We had a day centered around getting into aviation careers, with time on the desk top simulator, mini interview's with members of the British Airways team, and an incredible one on one CV workshop with the CV nerd!

A huge thank you to Delphine Legat and Jo Salter for co-hosting this incredible event with us. We had an amazing morning networking, connecting and taling about our goals and building towards our future ambitions. A couple of weeks ago, Elevate(her) hosted one of our largest events to date in Germany, led by our incredible Global Lead, Raja Katz. Seeing the room filled with so much energy, ambition, and connection was a powerful reminder of why this community exists. It has been truly inspiring to witness how the Elevate(her) message continues to resonate across the globe, and how many women are finding inspiration, encouragement, and meaningful support through our growing community.
